Voluntary Chargeable costs are an opt in / opt out service, however if you do not wish to pay for specific consumables, you will have to provide your own and we request that your own are in line with our policies, If you do not provide your own, you will be called and asked to bring in the item required or pick your child up
You can opt in to our all inclusive consumable daily charge, however this charge is the best option to support us as a setting be able to carry on running as we currently do, this charge will cover all snacks, food, all personal hygiene when forgotten, suncream when forgotten, lollies, extra curriculum activities and additional parties, outings, events and will ensure the Pre-School is sustainable during these financial difficulties.
Snack must be fresh fruit, Cut as per NHS choking guidelines, Please ask weekly for a list, usual list is a combination of bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, berries, cucumber, melon, Pineapple. In Winter the children sometimes have toast , in summer the children some times have ice lollies, these will all need to be provided or we will not be able to include your child or we will have to remove these consumables for all children.
We are a lunch box provision, lunch boxes must contain healthy food items and must follow government healthy eating guidelines, items must be cut to government/NHS choking guidelines. We are NUT FREE and we will advise if there are any allergens that can not be put in lunch boxes within the current cohort. Lunch boxes are required to be checked to ensure we follow government guidelines , a maximum of five different options in a lunch box is allowed, we requests no sweets or cholate .
